With the play in rehearsal stage, the producers of the new musical, Masterpiece of Mercy, an emotionally charged telling of how the Divine Mercy painting was created, are on the lookout for a stage manager with acting chops, as well as actors for other roles. A special cameo role was written into the script small enough for a theater technician to take on between cues, keeping the troupe compact for the purposes of ease-of-travel. "This is a great opportunity for a talented sound and lights technician to get a little stage time in a very special production," says director Daniel diSIlva. The show is set to tour this spring and brings the uncelebrated artist Eugeniuzs Kazimirowski to life working in concert with Sr. Faustina and Fr. Sopoćko. West Coast auditions are scheduled for Jan 27-30.
